Description: The largest scientific expedition ever conducted in the Araguaia river basin, Brazil, which, during 25 days of fieldwork, covered over 3,000 km along the main river channel and its tributaries, sampling 140 lakes. The expedition took place in February 2023 and allowed the completion of 10 research projects.
