Rules for Submission

Rules for Submission:


As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify submission compliance with all items listed below. Submissions that do not comply with the rules will be returned to the authors.

a) The PhD Scientific Review will submit all manuscripts received to reviewers, whose names will remain in complete and absolute confidentiality and who will issue opinions to decide on the pertinence of accepting the article for publication, and may even request the author(s)  modifications so that the necessary changes are made and/or so that they are adapted to the editorial rules of our journal. The evaluation process is "Double Blind Peer Review" and each article will be submitted by at least two evaluators, in case of divergence in the analysis, the article will go to a third evaluator. The evaluation is anonymous and valid for both parties (the reviewer and the authors).

b) PhD Scientific Review is not responsible for the concepts and opinions expressed by the authors. Spontaneous submission of any submission does NOT automatically imply full assignment of copyright to PhD Scientific Review. However, the contribution must be original and unpublished, and that at the time of submission it is not being evaluated for publication by another journal. The PhD Scientific Review receives for publication original scientific articles that have not been published in any other form of publication. The content of the works is the sole responsibility of the author(s), and does not reflect the opinion of the Editor, the Section Editors or the Editorial Board Members.

c) The submission file must ONLY be in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx) and the author must be aware that if the article is sent in other formats (including PDF) they will not be accepted and will be automatically rejected. The article can be written in Portuguese, English and Spanish. The page dimensions must be 2.5 cm for all sides (top, bottom, right and left). For the writing of articles, the author(s) must use Garamond font, size 12, justified, spacing between lines of 1.5 for the body of the text. The title must be written in bold, capital letters, Garamond font, size 12 and centered. Abstracts must be written in Garamond font, size 10, 1.15 line spacing; justified, maximum 300 words. The lead author's ORCID link in the body of the article is mandatory. Figures and tables must be inserted in the body of the text. d) URLs for references should be provided when possible.

e) Example how to reference:

Book with 1 author:

Model: SURNAME1, N1; Title. Edition. Location: Publisher, date. Volume or total pages. (Series or Collection). Obs.: Documents with up to 3 authors, indicate the three separated by ";" (semicolon). Never use "e", "and" or "&"; N=name acronym

Book with more than 3 authors:

When a book has more than 3 authors, cite the first one, followed by the expression et al.

Model: SURNAME1, N1 et al; Title. Edition. Location: Publisher, date. Volume or total pages. (Series or Collection).

Book chapter:

Model: SURNAME, N. Chapter title: subtitle. In: SURNAME, First name. Book title. Location: Publisher, date. Chapter start-end pages.

Dissertations and Theses:

Model: SURNAME, N. Title of thesis or dissertation: subtitle. Defense date. Total pages or sheets. Dissertation or Thesis (Master's or Doctorate in area of ​​concentration)-Department or Center, Institution, Place, date of publication.

Paper presented at conferences, symposia and the like:

Model: SURNAME, N.; SURNAME, N. Title of work. In: TITLE OF THE EVENT, no., date, place of realization. Annals...or Abstracts...or Proceedings...Place of publication: Publisher, date. start-end pages of the work.

Academic works and handouts:

Model: SURNAME, N.Title: subtitle. Place: Department, date. Number of pages. Course Completion Work or Graduation Work or Internship Report or Handout.

Periodical publications (scientific journals in general, newspapers):

Model: SURNAME, N. Title of the article. Journal title, Place, volume, number, initial-final pages of the article, date.

Internet sites:

Model: SURNAME, N.or INSTITUTIONAL AUTHORSHIP or entry by TITLE (if there is no authorship). Title. Available at: <email address>. Access on: date.

Remember that the text of the article must follow the style standards and bibliographic requirements contained in the template that is for download to the Authors (template download).
