Laranjeiras Valência enxertadas em seis híbridos de limão Cravo e em limão Cravo EEL, trifoliata 7L e citrumelo Swingle foram plantadas em 1997 em Mogi Guaçu, SP, em Latossolo Vermelhoamarelo e conduzidas sem irrigação. Tristeza e declínio são endêmicos na região. Não foram constatadas diferenças signifi cativas entre os porta-enxertos no total de sete colheitas, porém o citrumelo Swingle apresentou produções mais regulares e induziu a maior produção também no total das quatro primeiras colheitas. Nenhuma das plantas apresentou sintomas de tristeza e somente o limão Cravo EEL mostrou-se suscetível ao declínio. O trangpur limão Cravo x citrange Carrizo (1524) revelou ser incompatível com a laranja Valência.

Valencia sweet orange trees grafted onto Rangpur lime hybrids, EEL Rangpur lime, 7L trifoliata and Swingle citrumelo rootstocks, were planted and managed without irrigation, on a sandy textured Oxisol in Mogi Guaçu, State of São Paulo, Brazil. Tristeza and citrus blight are endemic in the area. No statistical differences among the rootstocks were detected in a total of seven crops; however, Swingle citrumelo gave the most regular and the highest productions, even in the first four crops. None of the plants showed symptoms of tristeza and only the Valencia trees onto EEL Rangpur lime were susceptible to citrus blight. Trees onto Rangpur X Carrizo (1524) showed bud-union-ring symptom of incompatibility.
