Citrus Research & Technology, ISSN 2177-5419 (printed version), was published in modality semi-annual and from 2012 is exclusively published in its electronic version ISSN 2236-3122 (online version), and from 2018 in modality of the continuous publication, with the printed version being discontinued.

Citrus Research & Technology is published under the Open Access model. Therefore, the journal provides immediate open access for anybody to read and download content, making research freely available to the all public supporting the global exchange of knowledge.
