Resumo
A Resiliência em Saúde (RHC) descreve a capacidade de um sistema de saúde ajustar seu funcionamento antes, durante ou após eventos e, assim, sustentar as operações necessárias de forma a assegurar o cuidado aos pacientes. A recente pandemia de COVID-19 desafiou os sistemas de saúde de todo o mundo, demandando grande adaptabilidade de gestores e trabalhadores da linha de frente. Este artigo descreve e discute sob uma perspectiva da Engenharia de Resiliência como uma unidade hospitalar privada do Estado do Rio de Janeiro ajustou seus processos ordinários, com base no trabalho real, para corresponder às condições de trabalho impostas pela pandemia, tendo como foco: Gerenciamento de Leitos, Recursos Humanos (Reorganização, segurança e saúde mental), Insumos e Infraestrutura.

Abstract
Health Resilience (RHC) describes the ability of a health system to adjust its functioning before, during or after events and, thus, sustain the necessary operations to ensure patient care. The recent COVID-19 pandemic has challenged healthcare systems around the world, demanding great adaptability from managers and frontline workers. This article describes and discusses from a Resilience Engineering perspective how a private hospital unit in the State of Rio de Janeiro adjusted its ordinary processes, based on real work, to correspond to the working conditions imposed by the pandemic, focusing on: Beds, Human Resources (Reorganization, safety and mental health), Supplies and Infrastructure.

La resiliencia sanitaria (HCR) describe la capacidad de un sistema de salud para ajustar su funcionamiento antes, durante o después de los eventos y, por lo tanto, mantener las operaciones necesarias para garantizar la atención del paciente. La reciente pandemia de COVID-19 ha puesto a prueba los sistemas de salud de todo el mundo, exigiendo una gran adaptabilidad por parte de los directivos y los trabajadores de primera línea. Este artículo describe y discute, desde la perspectiva de la Ingeniería de la Resiliencia, cómo una unidad hospitalaria privada del Estado de Río de Janeiro ajustó sus procesos ordinarios, basados en el trabajo real, para corresponder a las condiciones de trabajo impuestas por la pandemia, centrándose en: Gestión de camas, Recursos Humanos (Reorganización, seguridad y salud mental), Insumos e Infraestructura.
