A eficácia de uso das ferramentas de confiabilidade humana (ACH) na prevenção ao erro tem sido questionada. Os efeitos do erro humano já resultaram em um grande corpo de conhecimento. Ao fator humano tem-se atribuído um potencial elo fraco do sistema. Ferramentas ACH devem ser tomadas para minimizar erros, impacto e maximizar habilidades, além de detecção e recuperação de erros, mas nem sempre o fazem. Uma síntese com nomenclaturas das ferramentas, suas gerações e área de aplicação é apresentado como contribuição ao processo de escolha do método, fortalecendo a busca pela segurança organizacional e a maturidade ao processo decisório.

The effectiveness of using the tools of human reliability (ACH) in the prevention of error has been questioned. The effects of human error has resulted in a large body of knowledge. The human factor has been assigned a potential weak link in the system. ACH Tools should be taken to minimize errors, maximize impact and skills, as well as detection and error recovery, but not always do. A synthesis with classifications of tools, their generation and application area is presented as a contribution to the process of method choice, strengthening the search for security and organizational maturity making.
