For submission, the file must be sent in Word format and must not contain any identification of the author(s) in its body. However, a short curriculum vitae must be sent together with the submission e-mail, including full name, academic degree, academic institutional affiliation, Lattes platform link, and e-mail address.

Anti-plagiarism policy

Pesquisas em Humanismo Solidário reserves the right, before submitting the article for blind peer review, to scan manuscripts using PlagScan and CopySpider software to check for possible plagiarism.

The journal also reserves the right not to accept for evaluation articles with a high level of self-plagiarism.

Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of the manuscript and for properly citing any reused material from other works.

Pesquisas em Humanismo Solidário condemns plagiarism in all its forms and will question authors whenever similarity rates with other texts reach high levels.

In cases of confirmed plagiarism, the journal will not accept the manuscript under review and will no longer accept submissions from the individuals involved.

Article evaluation

Submitted articles are evaluated under a double-blind review system, in which two reviewers, members of the Editorial Boards or ad hoc collaborators from different institutions, assess the relevance of the contribution to the existing knowledge in the field.

If the reviews differ, the journal will appoint a third reviewer, a specialist in the subject, to resolve the evaluation.

Articles are sent to reviewers only after compliance with the above requirements, via the journal’s e-mail, without author identification. Likewise, reviewer identities are not disclosed to authors.

9.1 Possible requests for revision

After evaluation, the author receives the reviewers’ reports, which may request changes or adaptations aimed at improving the text.

The article must be revised and resubmitted within the deadline set by the editors, counted from the date of the revision request.

All changes must be highlighted/shaded in yellow.

The editors reserve the right to reject articles whose requested revisions were not fulfilled or were submitted after the deadline. The final decision on publication rests with the editors.

If the article is not approved for publication, the journal will inform the author of the editorial process by e-mail.

9.2 Upon approval

In the final approved version, the author must include the name of the author and coauthors (if any), information on the highest academic degree of each, full institutional affiliation, and research grants, if applicable. Finally, the electronic address and ORCID must be provided. Additionally, a complementary document must include e-mail addresses and telephone numbers for contact.

Articles approved by the same author or in coauthorship will be published in different volumes, with one article per year.

Pesquisas em Humanismo Solidário adopts the advanced publication model (Ahead of Print – AOP). Ahead of print refers to the early publication of articles approved by the Editorial Board, contributing to faster dissemination of research. The article is published in its final form and may be cited according to the model below:
