The Revista de Economia e Sociologia Rural (RESR), in partnership with the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA), invites researchers to submit manuscripts for its 2027 special issue:
This special issue aims to bring together studies on sustainable agriculture and livestock farming in Brazil, focusing on technologies and public policies associated with the ABC+ Plan. The call welcomes research on policy impacts, territorial evidence, economic modeling, financing instruments, productive inclusion, and global trends in agricultural sustainability.
Submission deadline: February 2027
Accepted languages: Portuguese, Spanish, and English
Multilingual publication: Accepted articles will be published in Portuguese, Spanish, and English
Fee waiver: Submission and publication fees will be waived for articles accepted for the special issue
📌 Important: At the time of submission, authors must upload a supplementary file entitled “carta de identificação da submissão para o dossiê (MAPA)” (submission identification letter for the special issue), stating that the manuscript is being submitted for consideration in this call.
