We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Dr. Ronald Miller, a respected member of our editorial committee. Dr. Miller’s dedication, insight, and commitment to excellence significantly contributed to our mission and vision.

The importance of Dr. Miller to Anesthesiology is immeasurable. He was a respected author, teacher and researcher. Dr. Miller was the main editor of “Miller’s Anesthesia”, a book which is the reference on the Anesthesiology field, member of the National Academy of Sciences since 1998, and had been published more than 400 scientific articles, book chapters and reviewers.

The editorial committee will honor Dr. Miller’s memory by continuing to uphold the values he championed and striving for excellence in all our endeavors.
