Orienteering as an alternative exercise and leisure

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the viability of Orienteering as an alternative to physical exercise and leisure, based largely on the experiences from the Orienteering workshop in the UFRJMar. As modern society now calls for physical exercises and leisure, the study sought to assert that the Orienteering, through its field of play and its uniqueness, has enormous potential for such purpose, to achieve the maintenance and adherence to Orienteering practice.
