Intercontinental Journal on Physical Education (IJPE) is a triannual publication. IJPE's objectives focus on developing, promoting, and disseminating the science and practice of physical education. IJPE aims to make it easier for professionals working in different fields of physical education and sports to disseminate information and encourage cooperative learning. In particular, the journal focuses on physical education issues and their challenges, brought about by the leading role of the world's scientific-technological advance.

The intercontinental dimension seeks to promote greater exchange between researchers from different cultural and national contexts; contributing and enriching our knowledge in the field of physical education. The particular emphasis is on the transformation of tacit into explicit knowledge. IJPE publishes original articles, review articles, technical reports, case studies, conference reports, management reports, book reviews, notes, comments, and news. Thematic special editions may also be published.

IJPE does not charge any fees to publish and process an article.
