Neste trabalho se faz uma análise da forma em que se ensina a historia da Enfermagem no México. Parte-se do enunciado das características da inserção, educação e prática da Enfermagem, enfatizando-se o número de trabalhadores da Enfermagem, os niveis acadêmicos, o campo laboral e o sexo predominante. Especifica-se a estrutura do sistema educativo de Enfermagem referente ao modelo de organização, aos eixos curriculares, aos niveis de atenção e organização do trabalho acadêmico, com a finalidade de contextualizar o ensino da historia de Enfermagem nos niveis médio superior, superior e pós-graduação; isso sempre se fazendo alusão ao tipo de disciplina, objetivos, conteúdos, técnicas de ensino, tempo, recursos didáticos e bibliografia. Por último, analisam-se dois fatores determinantes no ensino da História da Enfermagem no México: A educação e a ideologia que postulam as enfermeiras.

In this paper we analyse how the History of Nursing is taught in Mexico. It begins from the enunciation of the features of insertion, education and practice in nursing, emphasizing the number of nursing workers, the academic levels, the working fields and the predominant sex. In nursing, the structure of the educational system is specified, referring to the organization pattern, the curriculum direction, the attention levels and the organization of the academic work with the purpose of contextualizing the teaching of History of Nursing in the higher intermediate, higher and postgraduate levels, always referring to the type of signature, aims, contents, teaching techniques, time, didactic resources and bibliography. Finally, two decisive factors in the teaching of the History of Nursing in Mexico are analysed: the education and the ideology that nurses postulate.
